Arkadelphia Police Department Updates 10/6/25 - 10/12/25

The following incident reports were reflected on the Arkadelphian and were collected from the Arkadelphia Police Department and the Clark County Sheriff's Office. The names of these individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center located in Arkadelphia. These individuals are all assumed innocent until proven guilty by the court of law.

Monday, Oct. 6

9:40 a.m.

Officers were called to Cox Mobile Manor, 3027 Pine St., with a report of a man lying in front of a trailer. Valor EMS arrived before police and loaded the individual into an ambulance for cardiac or respiratory arrest. Later, officers collected and secured a handgun, cellphone, and set of keys near where the man laid. This patient (39), was transported to Baptist Health Medical Center.

Juvenile report: purchase/possession of intoxicating liquor by a minor

Noon

Staff at Providence Veterinary Clinic, 214 N. 25th St., reported suspicious activity by a Hispanic man (around 20 years of age) in a clad suit. The individual reportedly claimed he was a representative of AT&T and was selling Internet services and a cellphone. This "salesman" then inquired how his friend from last week did. The man claimed he did not have a business card after being asked for one and proceeded to take pictures of the lobby before leaving. An employee revealed that a different Hispanic man (also around 20 years of age) wearing a suit also claimed to be a representative of AT&T. This man allegedly entered the clinic the previous Thursday and attempted to obtain her personal information. This individual reportedly walked around the lobby, went into the bathroom for a quarter-hour, and left in a red BMW hatchback. Clinic staff were reassured that extra patrol would be conducted around their business. 

10:16 p.m.

A manager at Circle K, 3005 Pine St., reported that a clerk showed up to work intoxicated. An officer spoke to the clerk, Walter Vonstrauss (25), who exhibited signs of intoxication. Vonstrauss was administered a portable breath test, but reportedly failed to produce an adequate sample. Following the interaction, the officer determined Vonstrauss a danger to himself and others, and was taken to jail on charges of public intoxication. 

Friday, Oct. 10

3:55 p.m.

A woman reported that her estranged husband damaged an interior door and backyard gate while packing his belongings to move.
